Is it possible to setup the Apex controller without a working display? Mine needs to be sent in for repair but I'd like to get it working from my network in the meantime.

If you have a working network connection you can perform all programming operations from the webpages. The main missing operation is probe calibration; that is not currently available but it it comming.

The Apex is not being picked up by my newtork. This is a used system that I got from a club member. I was hoping I could get it working and be able to at least get some of the programming done while the display is in for repair.

How are you trying to connect to the Apex? Have you tried htts://Apex (default); assuming your friend didn't alter the network communications?
Do the LEds on the Apex's Ethernet port both light up?
One more; what OS and browser?

I tried http://apex but that takes me to a Apex Technology website.
Green LED on the box is lit, and on the DC8. Ethernet port is lit orange.
Windows 7 and Firefox.
The other guy may have changed the settings because he was accessing it from his phone I think.

Without the display, is there a way to restore the default settings?
