40 gal sump for 75 gal tank?

i am thinking about upgrading my 40 gallon breeder to a 75 gal tank but i was wondering if i could use my 40 gal breeder as a sump? would it be big enough? and if so, how could i set up the baffles to make it the most effective sump possible? any ideas would be greatly appriciated :fish1:

Sure your 40g will work (as long as it will fit in your 75g stand).
