Vortech Delima

So I bought a used Vortech MP40 ($300 w addition wet side) about a month ago from a local reefer. the other day it developed a rattle. Sent it in to ecomarine and got the news that a bearing is out on the dry side. So options

A: repair the bering $100

B: Buy a new dry side w/ 1 year warranty $220

C: Throw it in the trash and buy a brand new one?

I dont have much experience with these so throw me a bone.

Yeah fix it yourself. I cant believe its 100 for them to fix a 5-10 bearing.

do they warranty their repair?

it didnt sound like it. he only mentioned the warranty if I bought the new dry side.

I can't believe they want $100 to replace the bearing. I have several vortechs and love them, but their pricing on some stuff is way too high imo
