How is everybody mounting their probe in the sump. If possible, can you please post some pics of it. Thanks.

the above poster showed what looks like a clamp on model.
check out eshopps magnet probe holder. i just got mine today and it is a simple install.
i just need to do it during a cleaning time frame.

The one from GEO is very promising. Would the magnet affects the saltwater?

I've been using similar magnets for years on other DIY projects. They're coated.

The GEO holders look very nice. Anyone know if the magnets are strong enough to work through 1/2" acrylic?

Yup. Two of them hold up a 12"+ frag rack with frags through 1/2" glass fine, so the probes shouldn't be a challenge at all.

I was wondering that myself, but someone from the GEO forum confirm that it will not affect the probe. People from GEO has confirmed that they have tested it and would had no effects. Hope that help.
