With all the new programming features this unit is getting and considering its price, this looks like the best option to me at the moment. I have the 48 led dimmable kit on the way from Rapid with the dimmable mean well drivers.

Has anyone modded one to work like this? I'm sure it comes with a nice serial cable plug on the end so I'd need to know which pins went where, input voltage, output voltage (better be 0-10vdc).

Can anyone tell me why this won't work? Any advice to offer?

The ai controller is just a fancy timer. It doesn't send out a 0-10v signal. It actually requires power from the ai modules. It basically sends out instructions, dimming is controlled by chips inside each module.

The Connector for the new ai is just a 1/8 stereo plug.

So in short, no you can not use the ai controller for the meanwell. Unless you build something to power and interpet the ai signal and convert it to a 0-10v signal for the meanwell. If you figure it out, let me know. I'd buy one lol.
