Hi,
I'm new to the hobby and already have a question trying to setup a Big tank about 350 gallons or more if u include the 100 gallon sump.
I have the ALSP 3 Skimmer - Aquatic Life Systems Predator 3 Skimmer that came with an Iwaki 55 external Water pump.
I actually want to set it all up inside the sump so I need a comparable submersible Water Pump. Im looking at the Danner pumps and as far as flow the Mag-9.5 and the Mag-12 fall right in between the flow of the Iwaki 55. but I think the Pressure is something to look into.
Any suggestions? Can I replace the Iwaki 55 with a Danner Mag12 or a Danner Mag9.5 to be used on this specific skimmer? Or even a Mag 24 with very high flow I'll just use a spliter to send the rest of the flow up to the tank or fuge or UV light, etc.
