Hi friends,
My LEDs will take a few more days to be completed .May be a couple of weeks more.In the meanwhile couldn't restrict myself from gettting my hands on to some really cool cheap mushrooms and green zoas.Right noe=w I have a 70 W MH over my 20 gallon tank. The bulb is 6500K .Is it of much problem for the corals ?

Besides a chance of the color being off, there shouldn't be any issue.

When you do get your LEDs up and running, make sure to acclimate your corals to the light.

Won't hurt 'em a bit.

Corals don't "need" actinics, people just like the way corals look under them.

Thanks a lot for the replies..I always thought zoas need high spectrum lights in the blue range to really flourish.Isn't that so?

They'll live, but may not look so colorful..
