What are some good circulation pumps for a 125 mixed reef. I have no budget so what you all think.

Try to get a used Tunze, perhaps an older model like a 6060.

"No budget" you say :lmao: VorTechs would be my choice.

im looking a putting 2 hydor's on the jbj ocean pulse.. which is half the price of the vortech and not as cool and lacks the functionality. In your case i would just save up the money for the vortechs. i already have the 2 hydors so the ocean pulse is only 50$

I looking at tunze and vortech. The tunze has two models i think would fit my 125g. The 6065 and the 6085. The 6085 is about $40 more the 6065. Is it worth getting the extra 40?

Buy some used Maxi Jets with the mods on them.

I am considering one of these two pumps and was not sure if I should go for the 6085. The 6085 is rated up to 260 gallons and the 6065 is rated up to a 211 gallons. I have a 125 gallon with very little flow from my return pump. I plan on keeping SPS/LPS so should i go for the 6085?

Imo for 125 gallon tank (and if it's 72" length ) for sps is better to go with the 6100. i got 120 48" and i run on it 2 vortec MP 40 (similar to the tunze 6100) .
