Hello i am planing on buying a red sea max 130D and i have a question would 110w be enought to keep sps and a máxima clam. I plan on keeping some sps at the top of of my tank.

Clam should be fine, a friend has the very same tank and his clam is thriving, some sps should do "OK". Would i do it, no.

I highly doubt it. What is that like 18" deep? I would suggest no less than a 175w halide for SPS like acros etc. You could get away with easy stuff like a montipora cap. if you keep it up high.

I'm guessing they have pretty good info over on the nano reef forums as to mods and exactly what you can keep in a stock aquapod.

I wouldn't try for any SPS aside from Monti caps in that. They might live but not much more than that, they wouldn't really grow much.

As another poster alluded, if you are really wanting to really keep SPS I'd start to investigate a LED retro fit. Of course, LPS and softies are also rewarding, sometimes more than SPS
