I've heard people recommend it and I've even recommended it (to be honest I haven't dosed any, yet)..

What I'm mostly curious about and some stuff that I think will clear some questions up that others may have:
-which testkits are you using, do you continue to find them reliable?
-which product do you use for additions?
-can this be "home made" like cal, alk etc?
-how often do you usually dose?
-does it matter if I'm using vodka or a different method with the same purpose?

I believe the ideal amount (found on coral reefs) is about 400mg/L

I've started the brightwell a little while ago. I actually use a little less than recommended. I heard of tanks crashing from slight overdosing.

-another question would be "What are the effects of overdoing"? They could out weigh the good effects.

I test Kallium with KZ test kit, I do not know if its reliable to the T, but its close to actuall value.

NSW value of K+ is 380 PPM.

if K+ is low, SPS wont color up. all colors.
monticaps are a good sign, faded color = K+ needed in my case.

I dose once a week, Zeovit K-balance.

to bring out the Blues in corals, (assuming all other parameters are fine) I dose pottasium floride Iodine (PIF) from Zeovit, does amazing job on Blues.

ohh and to add, overdose = burn tips in my case, like KH being too high

all my opinions, so of course it can be wrong :)
