Nice! How long has it been up and running? Not many reviews of the LED out there.

Wow, did you move the rock and sand over from an established tank? Thats a ton of stuff in a fresh tank but if you are seeing growth it cant be all bad!

everything came from my 120g that i broke down. so plenty of life to start a new tank.

so i did what I NEVER do and that is use a heater that is rated for the size tank i have or above. well i used an old stealth heater i had in the 120 until i had gotten a second 15gal heater and it broke in the ON position. Heated the tank to 90 and killed a bunch of my corals and fish. so yay wth

Congrats on the tank, I will be ordering one shortly myself! My only question was what to use as a protein skimmer! What are you using?

I had the 24 gallon JBJ long before LED and I used an aqua C remora skimmer, do you think I could fir it on this tank as well? Here are pics(from 4 years ago) of how I set it up before, let me know if you think I could use the same skimmer on this tank.

Sorry i didnt get back to you sooner. I know that some people have been using the Aqua C Skimmers on the tank. I think it was the Nano size though. I have a Remora i'll try for you tonight but i dont think you'll be able to use the proper pump.

I talked to JBJ today since my duck/dawn leds haven't been working. Apparently they were never designed for use all day and are covered under warranty with a upgraded version.

I talked to JBJ today since my dusk/dawn leds haven't been working unless i tap on the lid and they will flicker. Apparently they were never designed for use all day and are covered under warranty with a upgraded version.

Ah man, I'm sorry to hear about that. What survived after being heated up to 90? Are you planning to restock and if so, with what?
