Beautiful fish, and one you probably won't see available again any time soon.

If you're interested, I'd get ready to empty your bank account (checking AND savings that is!).

Either way, with an Anampses like that I'd feel much better buying from LA DD where you know it is eating and conditioned well than from many other sources.

I'd say +$1,500, if I recall correctly they sell A. feminus for ~$1,200, and this is a much more unusual fish.

But I think it'll be in the neighborhood of that, I was thinking $1,600-1,800.

Wow that's a lot of $! Beautiful fish though. Hope we'll get to see pics if someone on here picks it up :)

Cancel that, a fairly reliable source is saying ~$700, and they would know better than I!

I've seen a couple out for sale lately. With that said, I would feel much more comfortable buying an anampses from D/D than anywhere else. It wont last long. Most likely be gone before the email goes out is my guess.

Yes, there are those of us who occasionally hit refresh on the relevant page every 20 seconds. :fish1:

I could have but did not as the temperature was infeasible for me. But yes, I surely did want to.

gorgeous fish. not for me, but just gorgeous.

I have one fish sorta in that price range - also from DD. A Solomon Islands golden dalmation puffer. Worth every penny.

I almost sent you a message on Facebook this afternoon telling you to stop hitting refresh every 10 seconds....but I was to busy trying to see it pop up myself :D. Hopefully it went to a good home.

:lmao: It is an awesome looking fish, but in the last 3 months I have purchased Earlei, Johnsoni, Pintail, Lunatus and Rhomboids so my wrasse budget is all but shot....besides I still have a couple more wrasses on my radar that will hopefully make my way in the near future so i need to keep a reserve for them. That and the family is tired of eating mac n cheese and hot dogs:p
