400WT Lighting question on 24" tall tank

How high are your 400wt lights above the waterline on a 24" tall tank?

Are you keeping SPS, LPS, or mixed reef?

Mine are about 12 inches from the water on a 30" tall tank. I don't have any softies other than a few zoanthids.
