Was looking at picking up a pair of hydor koralia evolution750 (http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/hydor-koralia-evolution-750.html) for my 55gal tank. Should that be enough? or do you have a recommendation?

Thanks

750's are what im looking at getting for my 60. I would also like to hear some opinions on the recommended sizes...

I would go with the 1400's. I think all the evo's are the same size and the price doesn't increase much with gph. I like mine and I barely have enough flow when only one is on.

Hope this helps :)

I have a 58 gallon which is 30" long. I went with two 750 evolutions on my tank. I have mostly lps and softies in the tank. Two 750s is too much flow for my tank. I have to point them toward a rock or the back wall. If your tank is 48" long it probably would be ok if you have lps. If you have sps it will not be enough flow.

I had 2 K3's in my 55. Great water movement. K3 are rated at 850gph

I have a K3 and a K4 plus a maxijet 1200. Lots of flow but I still have dead spots, probably because I have too much rock in the tank. It took a while to get them positioned well, but it works.
