I am planning to set up my RO/DI in my basement. I ran a supply line to the wall behind the tank (first floor) and I'm getting ready to set everything up. I'd like to have a SW station in the basement - I know running water up for changes will be a pain but I have some space limitations where the tank is and no room for a SW storage tank. I can squeeze a top-off tank - say 5 gallons under the stand so i need some advice on how to set up based on what others have tried. should I leave the ATO reservoir in the basement and pump up top-off water to the sump or use the water pressure to move the water up with a float switch in an ATO reservoir under the tank? In other words, one plan is to make RO/DI whenever the tank/sump is low and calls for it or make water and store it in a reservoir under the tank or option 3, make water and store it in a reservoir in te basement and pump up when needed?
