I see a few names here yet I remember :) Also sad to see Jason also had to get out of the hobby though :(
I also will be tearing down and parting out what I have.
For those that recall, the system was placed into "limp mode" when my wife was laid off, waiting for the day we could afford to continue building what we had dreamed of.
Well, before we could continue we had some accidents. First, while on a 2 week vacation an RO line popped out of its fitting and sprayed water up into the ceiling for an unknown amount of time, and caused a lot of damage to our hardwood floor in the process. No biggie, I installed the floor and can fix it.
However, not long after, a bulkhead fitting for the closed loop failed and the tank was draining. We were lucky my wife discovered it quickly, but while I held the fitting manually, she had to bring the hose in and the tank was drained :(
We are not likely to ever get started again. By the time we can afford it again, and justify it, we will then also be in the position to also travel and be gone more, with no tank sitter. So, it all has to go. I have posted before, on and off, as we changed our minds, but now there are really no other options.
Also, many items I can't/won't post until Spring when I can finish getting them out and cleaning them up, rebuilding, etc. The 195 gal tank (180 footprint) for SURE will have to wait until late Spring before I can finish cleaning it up, as well as the ground dry enough for a truck to back in.
I'll start getting pictures, and add things to a list, as I get things done. However, I was also curious about what people may look for as for price. I was thinking about 75% of current retail for anything not yet even used, and 50% for anything used but functional, at least to start. I can always come down if something doesn't sell. Assuming someone actually needed/wanted whatever I have, would that be a good place to start?
