Is an Octopus BH 100F too much for a thrity gallon? [Archive]

Hi All,

I am stting up a 30g ADA. Is an SWC/Otcopus BH 100F skimmer too much for a tank this small?

Most likely not. The rated gallons is almost always grossly over estimated and people almost always run a skimmer at least double the tank's size.
