I wouldn't care if it was carnivorous or not, I'd have done exactly what you did and removed it. No sense taking a chance! That thing is UGLY. lol It's not like any fireworm or bristleworm I've ever had.

Looks kind of like one of those huge eunicid worms to me.

Removed all my LR to give the sand bed a good cleaning.

I picked up one of the bottom pieces of rock and spotted this big sucker. Removed him with a pair of tongs.
