Skimmer in Refugium

I was wonder if I put my skimmer in the main part of the refugium where the grape caulerpa grows would it be ok or will I be skimming out things in the refugium that I need?

I would suggest not placing it in the refugium and your right you would most likely be taking out the good stuff. It should be placed in an area seperate from the refugium to where the water almost never joins each other. On the other hand the skimmer, IMO should only pass the entire water volume one time in a 24 hour period.
