How do I find the Apex URL (with port #) to login in via the Droid app?

Still having trouble with the display and have tried unplugging and the firmware update. Is there anything else I can try?

Is it easy to setup the Apex so that you all can diagnose? I know nothing about computers.

Couple of questions for troubleshooting:

1) Is this the first time you are setting up your Apex Unit? If so, try to access the web interface from your home networked PC using http://apex as the URL. The default port number is 80, but you don't need to specify 80 unless you change the port number to something more specific. Note that your Apex and home PC have to be on the same network. To add, your Droid should be connected to your home wireless network and not using cellular service.

2) If you are referring to any of us logging into your Apex or, better yet, have Neptune Support login, then you need to setup a domain name via free hosting (DynDns.org).

Take a look at the sticky "Updated New User Guide now available (Multi-page thread 1 2)" provided at the top of "Neptune System" forum page

It's been setup for 7 months or so. The display went out a few months ago but I didn't mess with it b/c I use my phone. Then I got a new phone today. And downloaded the Apex app but it didn't save the username, password and Apex URL (asks for port # too)

Do I just copy and paste the address on my webrowser from when I am logged in via the web?

K, so it's been setup for some time.. So, yes, if you know the URL, port, and your credentials then you can paste the URL and port via web. BTW, when you setup the Apex, did you specify a different port other than 80? If so, besure to append the port number after the URL. An example:
