bought a nano max ro unit off ebay a few yrs ago and im just now getting back into the hobby. i'm guessing a 2 stage unit wont be enough to bring the tds down to 0, so i was wondering if i can just add on a di kit? would that help out the filtration more? i really dont want to buy a whole new unit.

spectrapure is the way to go. a little pricey but worth it. Also, bulk reef supply has some descent kits at good prices. That probably wont be enough to get all the baddies out of the water.
