I have a skunk cleaner shrimp who has claimed the largest cave in my tank. The problem is that everytime I place corals on his cave he gets rid of them at night. He throws mushrooms off the rocks and rolls my LPS corals off the ledge. Is this normal behavior? Can I break this behavior? If I rearrange the rocks will it stop the territory issue, or will he just defend another cave?
I am able to place the corals on all the other rocks in the tank, just not his rock that forms his cave. Do I just let it be? Does anyone else have a shrimp with an interior decorating degree?
