CA & ALk off...still

Ok, started out with 50ml/day of BRS 2 part recipie 1 spread out 6x's a day

went about a week and checked. CA was 240 & ALK 12.0dkh.
So I stopped ALK dosing & increased CA dosing till I got CA up. After a week of just dosing CA:, CA was at 440 & ALK 10.6. 2 days ago, started dosing again, but at 35ml/day....per BRS suggestion.... CA is steady thus far at 440 & ALK seems steady to on way up again...10.8?

pH is usually 8.06 morning & 8.14 evening. NO fuge. Ammon, Nitrate & nitrite, all 0. Phos was .02 on Hanna checker.

Also MG has been a steady 1400 for last 4-6 weeks. Not dosing, figured just manual dose every month or so when it dropped, but holding a bit high.

Tank is 250g w/ about 30 sps frags & 2 clams & like 5 LPS & 5 softies. Corals been in there for 3 weeks and I started dosing when frags went in.

What to do or watch or whats going on? Why the CA & ALK dosing so far off & continue? Also have done a minimum of 3 25-30 g WC in last 6-8 weeks with IO? Did I maybe make the ALK solution to strong? Possible I guess, way to test it?

Magnesium normally doesn't drop much, so that seems okay.

I'd just back off on the alkalinity dose to get it to stabilize. What are the water parameters for the freshly-mixed saltwater, and is tapwater being used for topoff?

I am using RO/Di for top off, O tds......
IO for the salt mix, I will check params next WC.

I will also retest ALK & CAL tomorrow and see where they are at.....
