I have a 4 bulb Tek fixture and an unknown brand 2 bulb retro-fit kit, but it has icecap end caps over my 75 gal tank, all 48" bulbs.

I had a mixture of UVL and ATI bulbs, aquablue, aquasun, blue+, etc

We moved and I broke one of the bulbs. The only thing the LFS has were coralife bulbs. I bought a 10,000K bulb and put it in. It worked fine for the first day or so, then I noticed it wasnt anywhere near as bright as it should be. Called em up and the LFS swapped it for another one for free.

I swapped the bulb into multiple spots in my tek fixture and into 1 spot on the icecap retro, was the same deal.

The new bulb installed and fired up super bright, figured I was gtg. Just got back from a 4 day trip and same deal, bulb barely comes on, no light. Doesn't matter where the bulb is, all other bulbs are same brightness as they should be.

AFAIK, both fixtures are HO ballasts, or am i wrong? Why are these Coralife bulbs doing this? Do I just have bad luck, or am I mixing bulbs or something and that's causing it? Please help.

Thanks in advance
