View Full Version : MHLLE or not?

I have a friend with a 215g aquarium- its about 1.5 yrs old and all the fish are exhibiting possible MHLLE symptoms. Wanted a second opinion as it appeared on chromis.

h20 parameters when i checked
ph 7.7
ALk 7 DKH
Ammonia .5 mg/l
Nitrite .5mg/l
Nitrtate >180
Phosphate .25
Temp 77 degrees F with variations between 77-79- no heater (advised to get one)
I used a calibrated PH pen and an API Test kit

He changes carbon every month

Uses PE mysis, A frozen angel food, Nori Paper, Selcon
Equipment includes mag 18, grounding rod, medium sized skimmer, chiller.

Is this Head and Lateral Line Disease or should i take skin scrapes and gill clipping and look for parasites?
