hey all-
got the hanna po4 test the other day(LOVE IT) the 5 reagent packs that came with it are marked "HI 713-25".
the place i bought it also included 50 more reagents, they are marked"HI 93713-0". i just wanted to make sure these (the 50) are the correct reagents for the low range test.
the only reason i ask, is my po4 is reading 0, something it has never done...
anyone have reagents with this marking on them?
thanks

Those numbers seem to refer to the MSDS. Could you post a picture of the reagents? Which meter model do you have?

Thanks-
I have the Hanna Checker 713 Low range po4 tester. (the “pocket sized” green one)
It came with 5 reagents (in the actual tester box). The company also included 50 more reagents (packaged separately) .
Anyway-testing with the first 5 reagents (on the left in the pic) I was getting .05, then I changed my gfo and waited two days to re-test. I got .02 coming out of my reactor, so I left it alone and waited a couple more days. At that time I switched to the “other” reagents (in the pic on the right) and got -0- (both in the tank, and coming out of the gfo reactor).
So- either I am testing at -0- (that would be great), or the reagent is wrong (not so great)
I figured SOMEBODY has some of these reagents to compare them to.

Thanks!

The online data shows the 93713 packets as corresponding to this meter:

They're probably compatible with your checker, though. You might ask the company to confirm. Be sure to have all the id numbers at hand.
