Dosing 2 part?

I am dosing BRS 2 part recipe 1 and I am having trouble keeping my Calcium and Alk elevated. My magnesium is at 1350 so I do not think that it is the problem. I am using BRS dosing pumps to supplement the tank. The system is about 85 gallons and is a mixed reef with only a few SPS corals. I mostly have LPS corals in the tank. As of now the dosing pumps turn on at night and run for about 75 minutes straight. I have been adding 5 minutes every three nights because the parameters keep dropping and I keep having to buffer the system back up to optimal.

Would it be better to let the pumps run for 10 minutes every few hours instead of dosing all at once at night like I am doing?

Yes. I run mine 2 minutes every hour

Are both pumps running at the same time? Are the outlets close to each other?

No to both questions. They are set about 2 feet apart in the sump and are separated by a baffle. Also, I only dose one at a time.

I definitely would spread the dose out over the day.

The instructions that came with my BRS dosers said not to do more than 30 minutes at once. I have mine set to come on 20 minutes every 6 hours. Total 80 minutes (88ml) over a 24 hour period. The ALK and CA dosers are set an hour apart.
