having that argument with my self at the moment, i get to buy one of my dream stocking list for my 175g bow. the wife has given me the go ahead and the tax refund check is due anyday but iam battling with my self trying to justify the price of some of the dream fish so i dont know what my must have is because i have the chance to buy the fish i must have but now that i can iam questioning if i want to spend that kinda cash

Never had a tang or a clown. Never will have a clown. Might get a black tang when I get a bigger tank, but likely not. We both love puffers, so probably going to do a FOWLR someday for that. I've always had gobies, they just have so much personality! Loved my McCosker's, but tank is full now, IMO.

You can get great fish without having to spend a tax refund...sure, it's great to support the economy, but there are tons of great fish that aren't 'too' expensive...

At least one goby and one pair of clownfish has been and will be in every tank I have. Simple, yes but I like them
