Early CUC?

my tank has been setup for nearly a month. This weekend i will be in san marcos so i will have the opportunity to buy some saltwater animals. im wanting to know if i will be able to put the snails in there or not. i havnt tested my amonia and nitrate in a few days and im not really sure what it is since im leaving and wont be back til tomorrow. but will they be ok if i buy them?

Ya you will be fine, my Lfs said i could put in my CUC in at day one, (my tank is at day 27) and its all still alive, however my CUC is hardy and basic, my advice is just dont go crazy.

ya i just plan on getting like 8 snails or something for small start to help with algae, and yay my RODI unit came in today!!!

What will your snails eat? You won't have any algae for some weeks. For a 14 gallon you will need 3 snails max.

Ya, you will need algea for them, i had diatoms after day 6 so it all worked out fine...
