So, it's so nice to have a husband who likes this hobby with me. Just wanted to share some of our new goodies. Just ordered an RO/DI unit w/ TDS meter, new salifert test kits, AquaticLife fixture, new bulbs, some more CUC for the DT and these few pieces:

Very cool. It's nice that you share the hobby. My wife is very tolerant and really gives me card blanche to buy reef stuff. However, she also has a penchant for designer purses and high end cars so whenever I buy stuff, it usually costs me double,

My wife thinks its a waste.....oh well, wives come and go, but I'll be here for a while longer than she is probably.

I'm on a "don't ask, don't tell" policy with mine. He "likes" the tanks, but if we ever talked money, we might divorce. ;-)

My wife is cool with me doing the hobby and she even let me take household money to set up a tank for the kids. She is not a passionate about the hobby as I am, but every once in a while shes like I thought you were going to get a bigger tank or another tank.

I'll definitely post pictures when it all comes in. I sure hope my clam is still in stock because it's the whole reason we made an order with Dr. Mac. Lol. It is very nice to have the Hubby involved with the tank. :)

My wife is very supportive as well. She actually has to take care of the tanks most of the time because I work in Alaska and am gone for two weeks at a time. She isn't as "crazy" about it as I am but she did give me the OK to have a 450G tank built!!!

Ya my wife does not complain about my fish as long as i do not complain about her scrap booking and one plus she made me a really cool book following my tank build.

My wife is great about the tank.
Going into the tank 3yrs ago we discussed the expenses of equipment and setup, then fish and ongoing consumables (salt, food, power, etc).
She has no desire to clean or test params but will re-fill the topoff and feed the fish when I am on travel.
She understands QT requirements (she doesnt LIKE the wait but understands why).
We also use the tank to teach my son physics, chemistry, and biology. win -win for all.
