Fla Keys. Aquarium Stores

Heading down to the Keys next weekend and wanted to check out some Aquarium Reef Stores while Im am down. Looking to buy a few corals for my tank. Any good recomendations for places to go?

Anywhere. I will be staying around Key Largo, but will be traveling down to Key West also.

On your way to key west stop at The Wreck. Its on Marathon, mile marker 59. Right hand side just past the dolphin research center. Get some conch fritters and a fried grouper sandwich. You'll thank me later. Absolutely the best conch fritters in the keys, and the fish filet is big enough for a sandwich and fish and chips.

I was down at Key West this time last year. Can't wait to go back. Didn't see any LFS when I was there. The KW Aquarium was ok. Stop in at Sloppy Joes for an awesome fried groper sandwich.

KW has basically nothing. Try seeing Ken at sea life on way through tavaneir. Somewhere around mile marker 90 If I remember.

The Keys has no good LFS. Me and my buddies that have tanks have to travel regularly to Miami and shop online to stock our tanks. The best one would be "Pampered Pet" in Key West, which is right by the GFS and Quiznos. Its really not worth stopping in IMO. Few fish, and even fewer corals.

I wish I knew when I visited the Keys last year! Oh well, at least I got to try alligator LOL.
