What to add to sump? Heres the sump that I have

I took out bio balls and replaced it with this white confetti looking stuff....and also have a filter pad on bottom...I have a skimmer in center area of sump with a couple of pieces of live rock...is this good enough?

Tank size? Sump size?
What you intend to keep etc.
"white confetti looking stuff" serves same purpose as bioballs - I would pull it out and replace with a filter sock.

How deep is your tank and what kind of lighting do you have?
How much flow will be going through the sump?
Are you going to have a refugium?
Are you going to have a substrate in your DT? If so what grain size and how deep?
