I have two types of macro that are growing out of control on my rockwork. Both types are well attached to the rock and require a strong pull to remove them. Both get to be about 2" - 2 1/2" long. The white balance is off on the pics, but one is a tan colour and the other is dark red/almost brown. It's hard to tell, but they may be different colour morphs of the same algae.
None of my tank inhabitants will eat the stuff; I have turbo, trochus, cerith, and astrea snails as well as a coral beauty and yellow tang.
An ID would be nice, but advice as to what might eat it would be very nice :lmao:
Thanks... The pics aren't the greatest, guess it's time for a new camera
