Here is a question for you all;

I moved into a house that has engineered hardwood floors and well in the morning's it seems a little cool on the first floor. So is what I am thinking is maybe building another stand that I can put more things in such as reactor's and such.

Here is the thing, next to the tank I have a heater outlet, would that be a good idea to cover up that way the heat goes directly into my stand and could warm up the water and everything in there or, would that kick my butt as far as evaporation goes?

Any insite on this would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing your input.

What is your current tank temperature? I keep all of mine at 76F but think perhaps 75F would be better.

I don't have it set up just yet my 40 gallon sits at 79-81 depending on time of day. I went to my old house where the 40 is set up and well it was at 71 so I boosted the heater up to hopefully rise it...
