Like the title says, What kind of reef safe fish eats red flatworms? I heard wrasses do? Is it true and are there any other fish that eat red flatworms? Found some on my zoas this morning. Already dipped them....

I have always been told that mandarins eat flatworms.

Spotted mandarins eat flatworms sometimes, but it depends on the individual fish. Mine loved them. I hear that a H. Melanarus (hoevens wrasse) are good for eating flatworms, and they are really cool looking, too. I would avoid the sixline- thy tend to turn into jerks.

A tip I've heard is to blast them into the water column with a turkey baster where fish are more likely to see and eat them. If you have fish that will eat them.

I too have a ton of flat worms developing on my glass. I was going to ask this too. Can you have two different wrasses together? I have a cleaner wrasse.. Could I have a different type? He pecks at the glass some, but not a lot.

My six line doean't touch flatworms. Melanarus is supposed to be the best wrasse for the job.
