Not really. Just make an account and instead of uploading the pics to RC, upload them to photobucket. Then just copy and pasts the [IMG] code beneath the photo you want to post.

I use Snapfish, which works just like Photobucket.

What I find the easiest... (which in reality is similar to photobucket and all the other aforementioned things.) is

www.imageshack.us

quick uploads, it can automatically resize your pic to a forum friendly size, and it gives you direct link to post the image on the forum.

All you need to click is the yellowish icon on the top of your reply box, looks like it has mountains in it. Its right next to the icon with the earth and a chainlink (which is used to create hyperlinks)

However if you want to start collecting your pics online, than photobucket and a whole bunch of others work great.

I personally like Picasa by Google.

http://picasa.google.com/#utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-bk&utm_medium=ha&utm_term=picasa

Its a really nice program.. easily organize your pics.. even make minor adjustments that a easy to actually do. And the program it self uploads into your picasa we album with 1 click.

Sorry to be late coming in on this. Jarrett, if the right click menu doesn't show copy and/or paste, the keyboard shortcuts always work. First highlight what you want to copy, then Copy = ctrl-c; then click your cursor where you want to paste it, and paste = ctrl-v. And I think maybe you should be copying the link, not the actual picture.

I, too, ran up against a wall when I was trying to post pics (as attachments) from the last meeting, then I discovered these "rules" on this forum:

1. Pics must be not larger than 800x800

2. File size no larger than 102.4kb

3. No more than five files per post

Much more restrictive than we were all used to on MR.

So I guess the best solution is what most of you are doing, uploading the pic to a photo site and then posting the link. Guess I will need to learn how to do that, too.

In the mean time, I'm going to *attempt* (lol) to post the above mentioned pics to the General Meeting #1 thread using the site rules. They are mostly just "people pictures."

LOL Not terribly successful!!!! The pics are there, but you need to click each file name to see each one, and then back to the post, then the next... etc. Terrible system! I need to use the link to off-site method. Too freakin' complicated!!!

George just upload them to photbucket or any other site like that mentioned above and it should work out a lot easier.
