Decided to set up a new tank couldn't pass on the offer that marine depot had for a jbj 28 hqi for 300 and yes i know dr.foster ended up doing a promo tank with stand for 314 :sad2:but oh well. Been acquiring equipment slowly with other equipment i have from a previous build and in process of finally setting it up. Planning on doing a mixed reef tank mostly zoa's/paly's and couple sps here and there.

Equipment:
- JBJ Nano-Cube 28 HQI
- Reef Keeper Lite w/ SL1 and 2 extra pc4's
- Vortech MP-20
- 150w Jager Heater
- Via Aqua Chiller
- CPR Aquafuge
- Odyssea 18w Fuge Light
- JBJ Auto-top off
- Bubble Magus TM-01
- Bubble Magus Tray w/ Tube holder
- Tunze 9002 skimmer

Wow your old tank looks great. I think the new will be even better.

Before I changed my tank over to LED it was an HQI I had a 5 degree temp spike with a 5 hr light cycle. I have never had a chiller before and I am not really sure how well they work. Did you have one on your last tank?

My last tank i didnt need a chiller because they were pendants and were hanging about 6 inches above the tank. But the chiller works great does what its suppose to do and i got it for a great deal from a local reefer my temp stays at a constant 78.
