I know its not a lot and may only be 108 watts with one 10000K and one 460nm actinic but would this fixture be efficient for a 55 gal tank for fish, live rock and softies? or would i be better of spending a little more cash and if so what fixture best suits my needs?

Also would 1 Vortec MP10 with the driver be efficient for water flow/waves in my 55? and with waves how is it that you manage your overflow system to make sure you get a constant drain?

an MP10 is kinda small for a 55g, and honestly you don't need something that pricey for softies. I'd spend the money on better lighting first, T5's or something, and then get some koralias.

That light will be fine for what you are using it for in my opinion.

Mainly Softies, Live rock and Fish but I want good water flow so i was looking into a PH with a driver such as the mp10 but they arent cheap
