they would need a tank for themselfs. i would think their sting would be bad for the fish and other inhabitants no matter what kind they are.
IMO they would not work with other tankmates aside from themselves

jellyfish are a challenge, and require their own kreisel type tank.

The laughable part of that website is the claim that they are patent pending. The design is in the public domain since it was published in an academic paper in 1975, with further public modifications in 1990.

Other than the tank are there any special needs for them? Are they hard to take care of?

The cost of the tank ended my research. A LFS owner near me had jellies and he said that once the initial wow factor wears off, they are quite boring.

I've heard their life span isn't the best, combined with all of the special tank needs it gets pretty expensive. Look up Jelly Fish Art they have a lot better prices and some more info, but I would agree that they would be best by themselves.
As far as them being boring, I think the same could be said about a lot of tanks if you're not really into them then most things would be boring. I think SPS tanks would get boring after awhile. I have friends who think my lion tanks are boring. "What's so interesting about it, they never swim around and are always just hanging there."
To each their own I guess. If I had the money, and could convince my flatmate to let me set up another tank I would do it in a heart beat, but I was told no more tanks so that killed my research.

I seen a large jelly tank in mexico. it was amazing i dont think i could get bored. I would really like to spend some time in front of one to see how they interact with eachother.

Jim Stime (lafishguy) over on youtube.com is actually the innovator of the jelliquarium if I am not mistaken. He has a ton of reality style shows over on youtube some of which are setting up, maintaining and stocking jelly tanks. Its worth checking out anyways. Some of his advice is a little sub-par, but its entertaining none the less.
