Can i use the case for my 150w MH and install this 250watt hardware http://www.prolighting.com/pulsestart.html ? Pulse start will fire and HQI right?

Yes I'm aware i need to upgrade the sockets and stuff as well.

Yes, it should be fine, but you may want to check the size difference. Most of the time, the transformer for a 250 watt M80 ballast tends to be larger in size versus an M81 HQI 150 transformer.
