I used Loctite Clear Silicone to modify my penguin power filter. I siliconed some egg crate to separate a couple sections for a fuge. How long do I need to let this stuff dry before rinsing it and hooking it back up?

Please help.

that stuff is 100% silicone right?

I'd give it 24 hours and then you should be good to go.

It said Aquarium Safe on the package.

Under the Caution in the back, it says that it contains acetoxysilanes.

It also says chemically curing sealant VOC limit 3%.

I'm not sure if it's 100% as it doesn't say that anywhere.

24-48 hours is usually good. Or when it stops smelling like paint thinner. :)

Thanks. That's what it said on the package but I didn't know if I had to wait longer for aquarium-ready.

I appreciate it.

I waited 3 or so days until the vinegar smell disappeared.
