anyone using unfilterred well water?

Im curious to see if there is anyone out there who runs strait well water, or at the most just run through basic sediment filter and some carbon. If so, how often do you have your well tested, and what type of levels to you maintain, and what to you test for?

im tired of making RO/DI water and was curious to see if this was really necessary.

When I first started 10yrs ago I ran straight well water. Had a beautiful hair algae tank...........But my well water may carry different levels than you.

My well water is nearly 200 TDS, so, no, I make RO/DI.
