Many report no problems with them nibbling on any corals. I was able to report the same with my Magnificent Foxface for the first year. Since then, he's devoured acans, trachys and a wellso. I'm in the process of building a new 210g that will be primarily SPS. He's moving there once that tank is ready since I would like the 185g he's in now to be LPS dominant...his favorite.

I have a Foxface in a mixed reef. I've never noticed him nipping at LPS. That said, many have issues. Keep him well fed and he won't go looking. Mine does seem to like to nip at palys, but he doesn't for long.

I've had my foxface 2 years and I've never seen him touch anything and I have a fully packed mixed reef. I do feed my tank 3 times a day.

I have had a FF in a primarily LPS reef for about 6 years. He has never bothered anything except for a few zoanthids in the past. He ignores shrooms, yumas, acans, favias, frogspawns, hammers, etc.

I would start with some colorful mushrooms, they are pretty hardy and grow fast ,comes in avariety of colors.

I usually float the bag in the tank to to get the right temp and then just take them out and place them low in the tank .Do not place the water in the bag in your tank , it can become a toxic soup especially if they are shipped. Then if they do well you can gradually move them higher and closer to the light if you want. They do not need a lot of light so keeping them low is probably better and let them climb and spread on their own.

Some people would recommend dipping in "coral RX" to rid the coral of pests or quarantining them for a couple of weeks.

I have to admit I have never done that though.
