anyone here running a giesemann infiniti?

i'm thinking to get the infiniti HQ/T5 hood (1x250w + 2x24w) but have a few questions

does it run a electronic ballast? and is it a remote ballast or its build into the hood?

any other input about this light would also be great

The ballasts are electric and remote. Only the T5 ballasts are internal.

on my moonnlight fixture the bllast are in the fixture, it does have a external transformer, boost voltage from 110 to 220.

I was looking at this light but was steered toward the Aqua Photon Plus instead due to a few reports of problems with geissman customer service.

It's a great lamp. Worth a look-see before you buy.

i love the build quaity and the paint finish on the geissman, i havent seen a aqua photon before as no one in my area stocks them

yeah i'm getting mixed replies with the ballast, some says built in and some say remote....do you know if your 150 is a electronic ballast or not?

I will ask my lfs i am sure they are electronic balists ,

i'm asking cause i'm in New Zealand and the market here is so small we dont get much supply here but i'm heading oversea next month and wanting to pick up a new light and just want to do abit of research before i head over
