How long for EcoSmart update to take place over WxM?

I'm trying to update my EcoSmart firmware to 2.1 from 1.6

I follow the instructions in the WxM manual, the download gets completed, then the Apex says "Begin pump firmware update".

After 10 mins, the Apex still says "Pumps Updated:0"

I think something is happening tho as both my attached Ecosmarts switch into reef crest mode, an mimic each other (go into sync mode)

However, after 10 minutes +, the Apex still says 0 pumps updated.

How long should this process take?

I let it run all night and as of this morning, the APEX still says "0 pumps updated"

The strange thing is when I exited the update screen, my EcoSmarts immediately went back to modes they are programmed to be at for this time of day.

I still feel like something is happening since they are switching modes. Anyone else experience this?

I ran into the same thing. For the ES, there's two update processes documented in the users guide; an automatic and a manual. Use the process for the manual update and it should work...at least it did for me. The automatic never did.
