I think there's a number of Prodibio products. I don't think any of them are particularly meant for cycling a tank, if that's what you mean, but once the system is going, carbon dosing might be an approach some people would use.

no i did not want to use to cycle the tank i only use biodigest bioptim and the reefbooster
in my larger aquariums just had never started it in a new aqaurium im not sure if there are pros or cons doing that?

I don't think it'd be that much different from dosing an established tank with the same inhabitants.

just use biodigest dose it like 4 x normal amount...

then use that only for 2-3 weeks then start bioptim and then after 6 weeks go with reefbooster

really ok so in a 50 gallon cube i would dose 4 amps once a week? i was going to go one digest then 1 bioptim. so you think 4 biodigest a week? i have 2 fish in there and a few hermits and a few zoa frags i also run gfo but i may stop it seems thats redundant what do you think?

are you using the normal size or nano? what is the normal dose on the box for your size tank? then multiply that by 4 for the first week ..then dose like 2x the amount for week 2 and 3 then go normal..

just wondering how you all are liking the prodibio?

I'm on week seven with biodigest and bioptim. I took my gfo offline after week three. My po4 has risen from 0.00 using gfo to 0.08(via hanna). I haven't started the booster yet since its not "ulns" yet. Are you guys getting close to 0 po4, or at least below 0.05 without gfo? Do you think occasional vodka dosing may be helpful between treatments? I'm getting the new atb elegance shipped, so that may fix "the problem" removing more nutrients and get me to an acceptable level without adding vodka, but just wanted to see what you'll thought of the idea

i have used it in my 210 for a year its great i was still running gfo with it though but i may stop seems like its redundant? i was just getting ready to treat my new 50 cube and i looked at the box its says 1 amp treats 250 gallons is that correct? i went to prodibios web site and it says 1 amp treats 50 gallons which is it? so now im thinking im not using enough in my 210?
