i have red and green bubble algae only a little bit on some of my rock. but my levels are fine
calcium=450
phosphate and nitrate= 0
KH=10
ph=8.1-8.2
my levels seem fine, is there anything else that could cause algae, could it be from a bio-load because i do have a lot of fish for a young fish tank. should i try doing a refugium, if so, how do i section it off because my protein skimmer and filter socks take up half of my 30 gallon sump. so how could i section it off?
or how can i get rid of it by turkey basting it?

thanks

its not actually bubble algae, its red and green slime but it has air bubbles attached to it. but everything else is the same.

Andrew, please let me know what you have came up with. I have the same problem and I am leaning towards dinos, or possible cyno.

Thanks
