From a recent kitchen remodel I have a few dozen left over tiles. Can they be cut into small squares for use as frag plugs?

Thanks for your input.

steve garrett cuts his plugs out of big hunks of broken glass, and ive seen alot of people use ceramic pottery... as long as its sterile i dont see why not

You can use them but i would cure them in some old water for a couple weeks.

yeah i was gonna say boil em or something, maybe soak them in bleach and rinse them like crazy for a few days before you put them back in

I use those 2cm square marble tiles that make up a single sheet of shower tile. U can easily just peel them off the mat. I then use a short piece of solid plastic rod (10mm) and glue it to the tile, this to hold them in place in the eggrate. Easily snap off when ready to mount and re-use on others.
