I just got a green glove polyps and they have these weird blue/grey bumps on them (see attached picture). One of them seem to have a white tenticle sticking out. Are they bad? Do I need to pull them out or pull out the whole polyp?

I had a colony of blue clove polyps years ago that began to decline. When I inspected it carefully I found critters similar to what looks like on your cloves, they were a type of nudibranch that was fond of them. I do not remember the specifics of the nudibranchs name at this time but they were off white to grey and soft bodied and were more noticeable at night.
It took many nights and a pair of tweezers but i eventually removed them and the polyps improved their growth. They came off fairly easily with the tweezers without doing harm to the polyps themselves.
Hope this helps, definitely worth doing a search on nudibranchs and polyp pests.
