I found this plant on my rock the other day and have no idea what it could be. Its about 1inch long and about a half inch in diameter. Its pretty hard and the big opening at the top opens and closes. I hope you guys can help me i dont even know where to start looking for it. Thanks guys!

I think I see a boring bivalve (mollusc) but I can't really tell from that pic.

Hi Gnewb ; You have a hitch hiking clam growing their. You can leave it alone or dig it out and let your fish eat it. Happy Reefing!!!!!!!!!!!1

So since you guys are so good i got another one for ya.. What is this? i have hundred of them on my glass. I keep cleaning them off the front of the tank but they are all over the back and sides. Looks like the center section is stuck and the little feet/tenticals/whatever, some of them stick and some dont. Thought it night have been baby star fish but i dont think it is. The black thing is a knife handle so u can get an idea about how small they are.
Thanks in advance!
